Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, also known as Nirankari Baba his untimely demise in a car accident in 2016. Every year, on February 23rd, Baba Hardev Singh Ji’s birth anniversary is celebrated as Baba Hardev Singh Jyanti in remembrance of his contributions to the mission and the world.

Baba Hardev Singh Ji was born on February 23, 1954, in Delhi, India, to the then-head of the Sant Nirankari Mission, Gurbachan Singh Ji. From a young age, he showed an inclination towards spiritual pursuits and spent much of his time in meditation and contemplation. Baba Hardev Singh Ji studied engineering and worked briefly in the automobile industry before devoting his life entirely to the Sant Nirankari Mission.

Under Baba Hardev Singh Ji’s leadership, the Sant Nirankari Mission grew tremendously, with branches established in various parts of the world. He was known for his emphasis on unity and universal brotherhood, and his message of love and peace resonated with people from all walks of life. He teachings emphasized the importance of recognizing the divine spark within oneself and others and treating everyone with respect and compassion.

In addition to his spiritual teachings, He was also known for his humanitarian efforts. He spearheaded various social welfare initiatives, including the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, which provides assistance to those in need through medical camps, blood donation drives, disaster relief efforts, and other initiatives.

Baba Hardev Singh Ji’s sudden demise in a car accident in Canada in 2016 was a shock to his followers and admirers around the world. However, his legacy lives on through the Sant Nirankari Mission and its continued efforts to promote peace, love, and harmony among all people.
